# Get Operation

GET https://api.revero.no/public/v1/operations/{operation_id}

Poll the authoritative coarse state of one accepted command.

Reference: https://docs.revero.no/api-reference/revero-public-api/public-api/get-public-operation

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — Revero-owned OAuth 2.0 Client Credentials. Obtain tokens only from a backend; never place the client secret in browser code.

## Servers

- `https://api.revero.no` (Production, default)
- `https://api.staging.revero.no` (Staging)

## Request

### Path parameters

- `operation_id` (string, required)

## Response

### 200

The authoritative current state of the operation.

- `id` (string, required) — Revero's identifier for this operation.
- `meeting_id` (string, required) — The meeting the command acted on.
- `command` (string, required) — Which command this receipt is for.
- `status` (enum, required) — One of five coarse states. `queued` and `processing` mean work is outstanding; the other three are terminal and will not change.
  - Allowed values: `queued`, `processing`, `completed`, `failed`, `cancelled`
- `phase` (enum, required) — Which stage the work has reached. Informational, for showing progress — do not branch on it; branch on `status`.
  - Allowed values: `upload`, `transcription`, `generation`, `delivery`
- `created_at` (datetime, required) — When the command was accepted.
- `updated_at` (datetime, required) — When this resource last changed.
- `failure_code` (enum, optional, nullable) — Why the operation failed, or null. A closed set of stable values — branch on this rather than on the HTTP status or the message.
  - Allowed values: `upload_unreadable`, `transcription_failed`, `transcription_empty`, `generation_failed`, `processing_not_entitled`, `output_profile_unavailable`, `organisation_key_unavailable`, `jurisdiction_unavailable`, `internal_error`
- `retryable` (boolean, optional, nullable) — Whether re-sending could succeed at all. Null until the operation fails. False means a retry would fail identically, but the reason differs by `failure_code`, and only some need an administrator, so branch on the code rather than on this alone.
- `completed_at` (datetime, optional, nullable) — When it reached a terminal state.

## Errors

### 401 Unauthorized Error

`invalid_token` — the bearer token is missing, expired, revoked, or belongs to a client whose organisation is suspended or no longer entitled to the Public API. Obtain a new token; if that also fails, an administrator must act.

- `code` (string, required) — Stable, machine-readable reason for the refusal
- `message` (string, required) — Human-readable explanation. Never parse this.

### 403 Forbidden Error

`insufficient_scope` — the token is valid but was not issued with the scope this route requires. Request the scope at token exchange.

- `code` (string, required) — Stable, machine-readable reason for the refusal
- `message` (string, required) — Human-readable explanation. Never parse this.

### 404 Not Found Error

`operation_not_found` — no operation with this id belongs to the calling integration client.

- `code` (string, required) — Stable, machine-readable reason for the refusal
- `message` (string, required) — Human-readable explanation. Never parse this.

### 422 Unprocessable Entity Error

Invalid request

- `code` (string, required) — Stable, machine-readable reason for the refusal
- `message` (string, required) — Human-readable explanation. Never parse this.
