# Connect ChatGPT to Revero

> Add Revero to ChatGPT as a plugin, on a personal account or in a managed workspace.

ChatGPT reaches MCP servers such as Revero through plugins, which it offers in
developer mode on the web. How you add Revero depends on whether your ChatGPT
account is personal or part of a workspace your company manages.

You need the server address:

```text
https://api.revero.no/mcp
```

> **Note**
>
> Your Revero organisation must have agent access. If [Connected agents](https://revero.no/settings/agents) says it is not part of your organisation's
> subscription, contact Revero at [support@revero.no](mailto:support@revero.no) first.

## A personal account

1. In ChatGPT on the web, open **Settings** and turn on **Developer mode**. It is
   currently under **Security and login**.
2. Open **Plugins** and select the plus button to create a plugin.
3. Name it `Revero` and paste the server address as the MCP server URL. Choose
   OAuth if ChatGPT asks how to sign in: ChatGPT registers itself with Revero,
   so there is no client id or secret to enter.
4. Create the plugin, then install it from your personal plugins.
5. When ChatGPT opens the Revero sign-in page, sign in with your Revero
   account. On the consent page, choose the organisation and what ChatGPT may
   do there, then approve.

## A managed workspace

In a Business, Enterprise or Edu workspace, members cannot add a plugin like
this on their own. A workspace admin or owner allows developer mode in the
workspace settings, adds Revero as a custom plugin with the server address,
tests it and publishes it to the workspace. Enterprise and Edu admins can also
choose who may use it.

Once it is published, each member connects it and signs in with their own
Revero account. Publishing reaches nobody's meetings: each person's approval on
the Revero consent page does that, for that person only.

## Use it in a chat

At the top of the ChatGPT home page, switch from **Chat** to **Work** and start
a new chat. Type `@` and pick Revero, or choose it from the tools menu. Then
ask, for example, "list my meetings from last week in Revero".

Whether ChatGPT asks before it runs an action that changes something, such as
moving a meeting to a folder, depends on your permission settings. On a
personal account you choose when apps ask: always, before changes, or only
before important changes. In a Business or Enterprise workspace, the admin sets
the defaults.

## Remove it

* In Revero, open [Connected agents](https://revero.no/settings/agents) and
  select **Remove access**. This is what withdraws the access.
* In ChatGPT, remove the Revero plugin.

See [what you agree to](/use-revero/overview#what-you-agree-to) for what each
permission on the consent page means.
